VINTAGE Madame Alexander Madame Doll, The Secret of Madame, w/TAG, 1967, Original Box & Tag

This is the Madame doll was inspired by Frances Cavanah's book "The Secret of Madame." Madame has big blue sleep eyes and long eyelashes. Blushing pink cheeks and pink lips add color to her face. Her blonde hair is styled in tight ringlets, and it is in excellent condition. It has not been cut.

This is a 14” doll dressed in Revolution period clothing: pink organza mobcap trimmed in white lace covers her head with black velvet bow (white and gold metallic cord secures the cap under her chin), pink brocade dress edged with white and pink lace trims, white cotton and net petticoat, white stockings and black flocked shoes. Doll has secret pouch in petticoats where she can conceal the family jewels but pearl necklace not available. Includes doll stand.
