Casige Children Sewing Machine,1940s Miniature Sewing Machine, toy, Made in Germany

This is a 1940s vintage child’s toy miniature sewing machine. The machine is made of metal (Petro Blue) with hand crank with wooden handle. The Casige eagle logo decal is on side of sewing machine and impressed on the needle plate with Made in Germany - British Zone - GESCH.M.1470.

This sewing machine was produced by the company "Casige" founded in 1852 by Carl Sieper Germany (CASIGE). The kids sewing machine was made after the war by the company Casige during the British occupation. The sewing machine was produced in a barely manageable range of 83 models in over 600 different designs (combinations of different tops, pedestals, colors and patterns).

Weight: approx. 2 lbs.

CONDITION: Shows some wear and age, good condition overall. Needle can be inserted, left for buyer. No Box. Please review photos as you will be getting this item exactly as pictured.
