This is Eagle View PM/70 Sewing Pattern for Early Frontiersman’s Leather Pants, Reenactment Pattern; ca. 1970s. This is an ORIGINAL pattern NOT a PDF.
The Early Frontiersman’s Pants are styled with a button front and slightly flared legs and are typical of those worn in the 1800s. When teamed with the Eagle’s View Early Frontiersman’s Shirt or Frontiersman’s Shirt (PM/62 and PM/63) they make the core of typical “Mountain Man” clothing.
This pattern includes an option for front pockets, leg fringe and belt loops and may, therefore, be made to meet your specific requirements. Included is a section on “Working with Leather” and a glossary of all the terms that are used. Intermediate sizes are easily made and all instructions are illustrated.
