Vintage Chinese Handcrafted Brown Clay Yixing Tea Set, Stamped on Base, Zisha 14-piece Serving Ware w/Original Case, 1970s

This is a 13-piece Chinese Handcrafted Brown Clay Yixing 14-piece Tea Set with a dragon motif and with Original Decorative Silk-Lined Case. All pieces are detailed unglazed Yixing earthenware. Set contains a small Yixing steeping pot 4oz, 6 cups, 6 saucers. Case measures 11" x 9 1/2" x 4 1/2". Hallmark stamped on base of each piece.

Approx. length: 6 1/2" from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle
Approx. Width: 3 1/2" diameter of the base
Approx. Height: 4 1/2" from base to top of lid
Approx. Lid Diameter: 2 1/2" diameter

Dimensions of the cup:
Approx. Diameter: 2 1/4" diameter
Approx. Height: 1 1/2" tall
Approx. Width: 2 3/4" across with the handle

Dimensions of the saucer:
Approx. Diameter: 3 1/2" diameter

RECOMMENDED CARE: Use the yinxing teapot set for steeping only one type of tea, as the pot will develop a coating that retains the flavor and color of the tea. It is for this reason that soap should not be used to clean Yixing teapots. Instead, you should rinse the pot with fresh water and allowed to air-dry.

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition, Tea set has no chips or cracks. Original Box has some storage wear. Please review pictures as they are a very important part of the description of condition.
