Alaskan Ladies’ Summer Parka Pattern by Lois is attractive and easy to sew. People throughout Alaska have worn these summer parkas for years, with variations in style and trim so that each parka becomes a unique individual garment. There is one basic parka style, consisting of simple pieces. Three styles of hoods and three types of pockets are included with the patterns, so each person can select the type of hood and pocket desired, creating her own garment.
